Webinar TRAIN YOUR EYES WITH AYURVEDIC GLASSES!

In our digital society, we spend more and more time looking at screens, which are most often no more than 50 cm from our face. We blink less, focus on a close object and our eyes begin to get tired. Therefore, it is worth remembering that our eyes also need a break and a bit of exercise.

  • What is Ayurveda?
  • How is our eye constructed?
  • Why do eyes need exercise?
  • Where do vision defects come from?
Our eyes are a rather delicate and complex organ. Although our eye does not have the most advanced structure in the animal kingdom, its structure is quite interesting. The eyeball itself, although we generally only see a small part of it, is actually about the size of a golf ball! It consists of a number of lenses and several muscles, responsible for moving our eye, as well as the iris responsible for constricting and dilating our pupil. As a result, it controls how much light comes in and we can see clearly in both full light and twilight.

The eyeball itself is quite delicate, so it is accompanied by various mechanisms by which our body takes care of its hygiene. Starting with their location - the eyeball is protected by the eye socket of our skull, designed to protect it from large objects that could damage it.

Eyebrows also have an important function! They form an important barrier to stop sweat droplets from our forehead from entering our eye. Otherwise, it could lead not only to discomfort, but also infection by bacteria that live on our skin.

Ayurveda is the collective name for the ancient practices of Indian medicine, combining aspects of both the physical and metaphysical dimensions of the perception of the human body. Ayurveda includes many practices, from herbal medicine to massages and attention to diet and exercise. Western medicine recognises ayurveda as a type of complementary medicine and a lot of research is being done on the effects of the herbs used in it.

Ayurvedic glasses is also known as 'multi-lens glasses'. Instead of glasses or lenses in the frames, they have opaque black irises lenses These lenses are covered with small openings that allow vision. They thus continue to allow simple tasks to be performed, but should not be used outside the home, as they nevertheless restrict the field of vision.

Using ayurvedic glasses allows our eyeball relax, and thanks to the "telescope" effect they sharpen the image in people who suffer from a visual defect. Wearing glasses as a break from work is a great and proven way to exercise the eyes and relax the iris. This keeps our eyes more rested and avoids unpleasant side effects such as dry eye or headaches.

The eyes, like some other parts of our body, are self-cleaning. Eyelashes and eyebrows protect the surface of our eye from contaminants and microbes. Those particles that nevertheless get through these barriers are removed by blinking and, in the case of larger elements, also by ... tears! If we don't blink enough and our eye dries out, this can also cause the eye to become dirty, resulting in pain and discomfort.

What others are saying about us

Les

Les: I've heard a lot about ayuverda but didn't understand what it was. This webinar explains it coolly, without being abrasive or magical. For me, on the plus side.

Tobias

Tobias: I've been studying ayurveda recently and I'm so glad I came across this webinar. I hadn't heard of glasses before but from the explanation they make sense especially if one works in front of a screen.

Ursula

Ursula: I've been having problems with my eyes lately but I always forget to take breaks so these glasses are quite helpful when I want to relax and take off my regular glasses.

The eyes are a very important, but also a very delicate organ. If we do not take care of them, we will experience unpleasant effects very quickly. It is therefore worth taking some time to let them rest.
