  • How is the skin built?
  • What affects the formation of wrinkles?
  • How do we choose the right skin care?
  • What affects our skin?

Nowadays our world puts a great premium on youth and young skin. Hardly surprising! A youthful appearance is often equated with health and vitality. Unfortunately, for many people, this cult of youth is sometimes lined with fear of losing it. Additionally, fueled by the marketing of beauty brands, this natural fear of passing can turn into an unhealthy obsession and distract us from more enduring values, prompting instead a constant look at oneself in the mirror to look for and combat the first signs of aging.

The skin is our largest organ! It consists of many layers, but for the purposes of skin care we are only interested in the outermost one, the epidermis. Many cosmetics advertise "penetrating the deepest layers of the skin", but mostly this is just a marketing slogan. The deeper layers of the skin are defended precisely by our epidermis!

However, not all that glitters is gold, and not everything we put on our skin is effective skin care. Of course, every skin is a little different, because we are all a little different and what may work wonders for one person may completely fail for another. However, sometimes you can come across complete myths.

One of the important but often obscure or neglected elements of skin care is its protection from the sun. As many of us know, the sun sends various kinds of radiation in our direction. Some of it is visible in the form of light, but some of it we cannot see. We are talking about ultraviolet radiation, which can damage our skin through burns, among other things.

Despite this, many people are reluctant to use protective products. It is worth remembering that there are many types of sunscreens on the market. They belong to one of two categories: chemical filters, which change harmful UVA and UVB rays into pleasant warmth, and physical filters, using harmless minerals to create a physical barrier between our skin and the sun.

Do you know, that…? oily skin also needs moisturizing! Sometimes what we think is oily skin can be the result of dryness. The skin may respond with additional sebum production to protect itself from external factors. Proper hydration through a lightweight gel formula can help you recover!

Wrinkles are not the only symptom of aging and do not suddenly make us ugly and worthless. Nevertheless, it's good to know how to take care of your skin so that it stays smooth, soft, and supple for as long as possible. And while there is no single magic product that will take care of everything for us, There are many proven and tested methods that will improve the condition of our skin and help us enjoy a young and, more importantly, healthy appearance for much longer. Adjusting our routines and habits can greatly improve our health and comfort in the long run.

Agnes

Agnes: Good, solid webinar. Filled in a lot of gaps in my understanding! Good especially for beginners, because when I try to read on my own on the internet it's possible to get lost.

Dasha

Dasha: A solid foundation of what skin is for and how to take care of it. It may not be quantum physics, but it explains many things in a simple and accessible way. For me, on the plus side.

Penny

Penny: I was expecting walls of text and pushing my own products, but surprisingly I got a pretty solid explanation of what and how, plus a debunking of some myths I've often heard in skin care circles.

Proper skin care should start as early as possible, but it is also never too late to undertake it.

Even small changes in your self-care or behavior can produce significant results over time. Learn how to implement them with just a few clicks!
