This Privacy Policy sets out the rules for the collection, processing and protection of data provided by Users in connection with the use of the Website, consisting both in the use of cookies on the User's computer and the collection and processing of data about Users for statistical purposes, as well as other methods of data processing, in particular collecting, recording, storing, compiling, amending, sharing and other use of data. This Privacy Policy ensures compliance with applicable data protection laws and regulations. All terms used in this document have the meaning assigned to them in the Webinar Academy Terms and Conditions available on the Website.

§1
Personal Data Controller

  1. The Controller collects personal data to enable Users to use the Website and provide Services. Users' personal data are subject to special protection and are used only in the scope defined in the consent granted or as permitted by applicable law. The database of personal data is kept by the Controller in accordance with the law applicable to the registered office of the Controller and in accordance with international data protection standards.
  2. The Controller ensures the security of personal data provided by the Users, in particular protecting them against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. The Controller ensures that registered Users can exercise their rights under applicable data protection laws, in particular the right to access their own personal data, the right to request updating, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and the right to object to processing. Users also have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority and to withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.
  3. Where required by applicable law, the Controller has appointed representatives in relevant jurisdictions and a Data Protection Officer to oversee compliance with data protection obligations. Users may contact the Controller or Data Protection Officer regarding privacy matters through the contact details provided on the Website.

§2
Personal data and other information provided by Users

  1. Users provide their personal data on a voluntary basis. However, their provision is necessary for the use of the Website and Services, and a failure to provide them renders the use of the Website impossible. All collected personal data are intended for use by the Controller in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.
  2. The Controller collects personal data that Users provide directly, including name, surname, address, telephone number, e-mail address, User's login, personal password, payment information such as credit or debit card details or other financial data necessary to process payments, transaction history, and any personal information provided by Users themselves in connection with registration, purchases, or use of Services.
  3. When a User uses the Website, the servers automatically collect information sent by the browser and included in system logs. This information may include IP address, browser type, device ID, operating system, network connection type and service provider name, search engine type, website visited directly before using the Website, pages visited, time spent on pages, click patterns, and other technical and usage data.
  4. The Controller uses this information to ensure the highest quality of service provided, for technical and statistical purposes, to identify Users for Order execution including provision of educational content and Giveaways, to process online or offline settlements and payments, for subsequent contact with Users, for developing and improving the Website, for after-sales activities, for fraud detection and security purposes, and for other legitimate business operations.
  5. Due to the nature of the Orders and Giveaways provided through the Website, a User may be asked to provide additional personal data, the scope of which will be properly indicated in the Webinar Academy Terms and Conditions.

§3
Legal basis and purposes of processing

  1. The Controller processes personal data based on various legal grounds: performance of a contract, explicit consent (particularly for marketing), compliance with legal obligations, or legitimate interests pursued by the Controller or a third party.
  2. The Controller processes data for the purpose of fulfilling Orders, delivery of Access Codes, providing customer support, managing user accounts, processing payments, maintaining security, and for marketing of the Controller's as well as third party services (including newsletters where consent has been provided).
  3. A User may at any time stipulate that they do not consent to receiving commercial information by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the e-mail. Users have the right to withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

Cookies and tracking technologies

  1. The Controller uses cookies to store information about Users' preferences and to enable certain operations. Cookies are text files identifying Users to enable proper functionality, store personal settings, and manage login data.
  2. The Website uses:
    • Essential cookies – required for website functionality, session management, and security. Cannot be disabled.
    • Analytics cookies (e.g., Google Analytics) – used to understand user behaviour and collect usage statistics.

Data retention and security

  1. Data is retained only as long as necessary:
    • Account data: duration of account plus 3 years.
    • Financial data: 7 years for tax/financial regulations.
    • Marketing data: until consent is withdrawn.
  2. The Controller implements technical and organizational measures: SSL/TLS encryption, role-based access controls, regular security audits, and incident response procedures.
  3. Counteracting identity theft and phishing is a priority. While robust measures are in place, no system can guarantee absolute security.

Users' rights

  1. Users have the right to access, rectify, or erase data (right to be forgotten), the right to restrict or object to processing, and the right to data portability.
  2. Users have the right to withdraw consent at any time and the right to request human intervention regarding automated decision-making/profiling.
  3. To exercise rights, Users should contact customer service. Requests are typically handled within 30 days.
  4. Users have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Children's privacy and automated decision-making

  1. The Website is not directed to children. If data of a minor is collected without parental consent, it will be deleted promptly.
  2. Automated decision-making may be used for fraud detection and personalized recommendations. Users can contest automated decisions and request human review.

  1. The Controller stores communication history and content submitted by Users. Users retain ownership but grant the Controller necessary rights to use content for providing Services.

  1. The Controller may send unsolicited communications necessary for Service functioning (security notices, technical updates). Users cannot opt out of these essential messages.
