Blockchain technology has developed into a large ecosystem of many separate networks. Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Avalanche, BNB Chain, Polygon, Cosmos, Polkadot, and many other blockchains were created with different goals, architectures, consensus models, and communities. Each network can process transactions, support applications, and store data in its own way. However, this diversity also creates a challenge: what happens when users, assets, and applications need to move between different blockchains?
